About this opportunity
The Huntsville Engineering and Support Center, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (CEHNC) is conducting a Sources Sought market research announcement for miscellaneous furniture and furnishings to support Military Health System (MHS) medical facility sustainment requirements. The government seeks qualified business sources capable of providing turnkey solutions for loose medical furnishings and related services, including design, installation, transportation, inventorying, and warehousing. The procurement will utilize Packaged Office General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contractors to consolidate services from multiple individual GSA contractors. The government is seeking firms that can supply furnishings for various facility types, including hospitals, medical clinics, dental clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, veterinary clinics, and administrative facilities. This Sources Sought announcement is unrestricted and invites responses from both small and large businesses. Interested firms must submit a completed Capabilities Statement by 12:00 p.m. Central Time on January 22, 2026. No formal evaluation criteria are outlined in this pre-solicitation notice, as this is a market research phase to identify potential contractors rather than a competitive procurement.
This announcement includes no set-aside designation, allowing all qualified contractors to compete. The notice does not identify any current incumbents or existing contractors for this requirement. No award value or budget range is provided in the pre-solicitation documentation, as this is a market research effort to assess contractor capabilities and availability. The submission requirements are limited to providing a completed Capabilities Statement demonstrating the firm's ability to supply the specified furniture types and services across the geographic service areas required by the government. The document emphasizes that collected information will be used solely for market research purposes to inform future procurement strategies for MHS medical facility furnishings and related support services.
