Notice text

This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) for Solicitation W52P1J-15-T-0017; which serves as notification to the industry for the forthcoming procurement of Fuel and Fuel Products Services in support of Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO). This notice does not constitute a solicitation for proposals.
The Government intends to issue Solicitation W52P1J-15-T-0017 in support of the U.S. Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), 834th Transportations Battalion (TB) requirements for Fuel and Fuel Products Services in Concord, California. The contractor shall provide refueling and servicing equipment to support the day-to-day mission of the Military Ocean Terminal Concord; however, the needs vary and the exact items, quantities, and delivery requirements are not known in advance. The requirements are based on mission, emergencies, weather conditions, and other factors related to running an Army installation. The use of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) would avoid writing numerous purchase orders and allow for the flexibility of needs and requirements as they occur. BPA service at MOTCO is critical to the overall strategic mission of the Department of Defense; MOTCO is the United States west coast strategic ammunition seaport and gateway to the Pacific.
The anticipated date for release of the solicitation is on/or around 30 March 2015. Multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation shall be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 5.204, therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
CAUTION: This solicitation shall be issued electronically as well any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidders' mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access FedBizOpps to obtain the solicitation and any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and respond to them by date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
Please direct all questions or inquiries to Mr. Jorge Chavez-Rey at jorge.r.chavezrey.civ@mail.mil. All questions should be submitted via email. No telephone questions or inquires are acceptable.
