Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and disposal necessary to replace the substation transformer, dental xray transformer, diesel generator, main distribution switchboard, and power panels within Michel Hall at the USCG Academy in New London, CT. All disruptions of power shall be scheduled with the Coast Guard two weeks in advance. During the replacement of the existing 60kw generator, a 60kw temporary generator shall be provided until the new 200kw generator is functional and all building loads have been transferred over to the new switchboard. The solicitation will include an optional bid item for the removal and replacement of existing electrical panel boards (approximately 28 panels from 40A to 250A throughout Michel Hall).
