About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard is seeking quotations for five units of a Weight on Wheels Switch (NSN 5930-14-466-8288, Part Number 19345-000-02) through a firm-fixed price purchase order. The part must be sourced from the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Safran Landing Systems (CAGE Code F0189), with complete traceability documentation from an OEM-approved source. Only the lowest-priced offer will initially be evaluated for technical acceptability; if that offer is deemed unacceptable, evaluation will proceed in ascending price order until the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer is identified. Prices must remain firm for 60 calendar days from the receipt of offers deadline, with evaluation also considering quantity discounts and prompt payment discounts. The quotation deadline is March 18, 2026, with delivery required by February 8, 2027.
This acquisition is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, meaning only small businesses meeting the 1,250-employee size standard are eligible to bid. There are no identified current contractors or incumbents mentioned in the solicitation documents. The procurement includes an optional quantity clause allowing the government to increase the order by up to five additional units for a maximum total of ten units at the unit price quoted, with the Contracting Officer authorized to exercise this option within one calendar year of award. Delivery shall be made F.O.B. Destination to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, with invoices submitted electronically to ALC-Fiscal@uscg.mil within five days of shipment. All products must comply with extensive quality assurance, security, and compliance requirements applicable to items touching USCG aircraft, including immediate notification of supply changes, defects, and suspect parts.
