About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification of a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) located in Owego, NY. The contract is for updating the FliteScene Moving Map software in SC26 for all MH-60 Product Line Variants and the Hellenic Navy. The contract will also resolve all Program Trouble Reports (PTRs). The projected deliveries are from October 2024 to March 2026, with the place of performance being in Owego, NY. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to LM RMS under the authority permitting other than full and open competition.
Paragraph 2:
This contract opportunity is not set aside. LM RMS is the sole developer and integrator of the avionics suit and embedded software for the Common Cockpit, as well as other non-cockpit avionics weapons kits for the MH-60S, making them the only responsible source. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement, as the work listed requires a substantial initial investment.
