About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force's Air Education and Training Command is seeking potential vendors to provide an integrated active and passive asset tracking and management system to support the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. The solution must include all required hardware, software, asset tags, installation, configuration, training, testing, and maintenance. Key requirements are that the system be locally hosted, client/server based, WLAN and PKI-enabled, and scalable to support up to 100,000 assets across 50 buildings.
The government is considering issuing this as a 100% Small Business set-aside contract, potentially as a Firm Fixed-Price contract. There are no details provided on any potential incumbent contractors or award values, but interested vendors are requested to provide product information and contractor details by the July 17, 2024 deadline. A formal solicitation may be issued in the future if the government decides to proceed with this requirement.
