About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is seeking to procure kitchen appliances and equipment for four dining facilities at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, totaling 41 pieces across 22 unique equipment types. The pre-solicitation notice requires potential vendors to provide detailed information about their business capabilities, including SAM.gov registration status, small business classifications (such as Veteran-owned, Women-owned, or HUBZone), and qualifications under NAICS code 238290. Interested contractors must submit responses by March 10, 2025, to the primary point of contact, Capt Zachary Keener, demonstrating their ability to provide, ship, install, and provide brief training for the specified kitchen equipment. Evaluation criteria will focus on vendors' business registration, equipment specifications compatibility, GSA/FSS contract availability, and overall contractor capabilities. This is a source-seeking notice and does not constitute a formal request for quotation or guarantee of contract award.

The opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, targeting small business contractors within the kitchen equipment and appliances sector (PSC 7320). While no specific incumbent contractors are mentioned, the procurement involves comprehensive kitchen equipment including tilting skillets, steam kettles, griddles, refrigerators, combination ovens, dishwashers, fryers, and food service counters. Vendors must provide their CAGE code, DUNS number, and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). Although the exact award value is not specified, the scope involves 41 total items across 22 unique equipment types, suggesting a potentially significant procurement. The Marine Corps requires not only equipment supply but also includes shipping, installation, and brief training for dining facility personnel, indicating a comprehensive service requirement beyond simple equipment procurement.
