The Mayo Ditch Culvert Scour Repair consists of repairing a scour a one location along the west bank of Mayo Ditch, AR on the downstream side of County Road Bridge 860 (Morse Island Rd.). The scouring is approaching the county bridge and riprap placement is required to prevent any future damages to the county owned bridge. Other operations involved are: minimum excavation of soil, placement of filter material and riprap, and establishment of turf/fertilizing. Storm water prevention measures and environmental protection are included as well.

Other operations involved include: minimum excavation of soil, clearing, grubbing, establishment of turf/fertilizing, placing riprap & bedding material, storm water prevention measures, and environmental protection.

These repairs may include levee slides repairs, channel scour repairs, culvert replacements, and other rehabilitation projects. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials (except as specified) and equipment for the work to be performed by land and/or water based. The work includes, but not limited to: clearing, stripping; grubbing; excavation, stockpiling of material; debris disposal; placement of geo-textile, filter material, and riprap; compaction; levee restoration using geo-grid and establishment of turf. There are six (6) sheets in the set of drawings including seven (7) maps. This project is advertised as an 8(a) Competitive construction requirement using sealed bid procedures and is also restricted to 8(a) firms located in the states of IL, KY, MO AR, TN and MS which have the assigned NAICS code (237990) among those approved for 8(a) participation.
