Notice text
This project is located in Stark County, OH, next to the city of Massillon. The city of Massillon is protected by two earthen levees on each side of the Tuscarawas River. The Massillon Levee Repair consists of the following major features: Stone slope protection at the toe for 4,000 LF West and 7,500 LF East Levees, for the entire length of both levees; Excavated material is to be hauled to a designated disposal site and/or placed on-site in beneficial use areas; Large debris will be removed and properly disposed; Areas disturbed by the work shall be returned to original state and seeded; Contractor shall obtain all permits and submit a Traffic Control Plan for state approval; Contractor shall need to possess, or have access to, necessary equipment and manpower to place stone on the West and East Levees concurrently.
