About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center, is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for NSN 5995-01-392-7319, a cable assembly component critical to the AN/VIC Vehicle Intercom System used in Army ground vehicles. Interested contractors must demonstrate their capability to manufacture or supply this cable assembly and related parts by submitting detailed documentation including a completed contractor questionnaire, First Article Testing (FAT) capabilities or results, evidence of previous government contracts, and data rights information. The submission must include the company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contact with email and telephone number. Respondents should be prepared to discuss their qualifications in engineering and production of similar complexity items, experience with component obsolescence management, ability to meet government delivery requirements, and inventory or stocking practices. The response deadline for this pre-solicitation market survey is March 2, 2026, which provides interested parties with six days from the posting date of February 24, 2026 to submit their information. Additionally, companies requesting access to the Technical Data Package must submit their requests to DLA.Aberdeen.SourcesSought@dla.mil within seven days of posting and must possess an active Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification with an approved DD2345 form.
This pre-solicitation notice includes no set-aside designation, and no incumbent contractor or current supplier is identified in the documentation. The specific part being procured is cable assembly part number A3206081-3-3 with CAGE code 80063, which functions as a connector between the master control assembly and the P1 adapter within the intercom system architecture. The government possesses the Technical Data Package for the component and has indicated conditional availability of this documentation, which includes Level 3 production information and is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controls. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, as this is a market survey phase designed to assess supply base capability and competition rather than a formal solicitation with guaranteed procurement quantities. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 335931 (Current-Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing), and the PSC category is 5995 (Cable, Cord, and Wire Assemblies: Communication Equipment), indicating the technical nature and classification of the goods being sought.
