About this opportunity

This pre-solicitation notice is for a market survey to identify sources capable of providing Sikorsky S-92 Helicopter Pilot Flight Training to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA is seeking commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) training for its Flight Standards Service and Aircraft Certification Service inspectors and pilots. Interested vendors must submit a capability statement, geographic area for training, and proposed approach. This is not a solicitation, and no award will be made. The FAA will use the information to determine if adequate competition exists to set aside the future procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) firms.

The FAA has not determined the nature of the competition at this time and may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement. Interested 8(a) certified firms must submit a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter. Responses to the market survey are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on May 31, 2024.
