Update #1 ·

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to solicit the requirement for Maritime Buoyant Plates (MBPs).  It is intended for the resultant contract to be a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contract.  It is the Government's intent to award up to three Multiple Award Contracts (MACs).  All resultant MACs will require First Article Testing Units and will contain a basic 12 month ordering period and four 12 month option ordering periods for the production lot.  The total period of performance will be five years, if all options are exercised.  Individual Delivery Orders issued under the MAC will be competed among the MAC holders for the required quantities with the exception of the First Article Testing Units. All MAC holders will be awarded a delivery order for the First Article Testing Units.  Qualification and eligibility for any delivery orders for the production lot is contingent upon the contractor's successful completion of First Article Test (FAT) in accordance with NQ/PD 16-04 Maritime Buoyant Plate Purchase Description.
