About this opportunity

The Department of State's U.S. Embassy in Singapore is seeking contractors to perform make-ready work at U.S. government-owned residences in Singapore, specifically including tasks like painting and floor polishing. The solicitation will be formally launched on SAM.gov, with electronic submissions accepted at SGProcurementRFQ@state.gov until March 21, 2025. All responsible sources may submit quotations, and the government may award the contract based on initial offers without further discussion. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting an offer, and must comply with all Singapore legal and regulatory requirements. A pre-quotation conference will be scheduled, with the specific date to be detailed in the full solicitation.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates this will be a firm fixed-price type contract, classified under NAICS code 238320 for Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. There are no specific set-aside designations for this opportunity, meaning it is open to all qualified contractors. While specific award values are not disclosed, the scope appears to be for maintenance services at government-owned residential properties in Singapore. Contractors will need to demonstrate capability to perform painting, floor polishing, and related make-ready work in compliance with local regulations. The contract will likely be of relatively short duration, focused on specific maintenance and preparation tasks for U.S. government residences in the region.
