About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice is for the anticipated procurement of pier side mid-term availability and overhaul of a T-EPF class vessel by NAVSUP FLCSI Naples. All repair work must be accomplished at the successful contractor's facility located within the Sixth Fleet European AOR, which is restricted to locations in or south of Ferrol, Spain as well as the Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands and Mediterranean basin. Offerors must be located in a country with an International Agreement with the United States addressing primary jurisdiction procedures for US military personnel. The subsequent formal solicitation will include a detailed scope of work and instructions for submitting proposals to be evaluated for contract award.
There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. As this is for ship repair and overhaul services, the primary NAICS and PSC codes would likely relate to those industries. While no current contractors were named, the scope and location indicate this work has likely been performed before on these vessels. Additional details on budget, timeline and quantities will be provided in the formal solicitation.
