About this opportunity
This Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice is for the Maintenance of Electronic Health Record Data from Federally Qualified Health Centers Sampled in the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS), published by the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Office of Acquisition Services. The justification explains this is a logical follow-on to a prior BPA Call awarded to the incumbent contractor, who has already completed half of the required FQHC Electronic Health Record (EHR) work. Awarding this follow-on to the incumbent ensures consistency, compatibility, and efficiency, ultimately saving time and government resources. The prior BPA Call No. 75D30122F15721 was awarded to an unknown vendor on 2024-08-14 for an unknown amount, and this new BPA Call No. 75D30124F19541 is being awarded as a limited/sole source justification under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C).
Notice text
A limited sources justification for BPA Call 75D30124F19541 was awarded as the logical follow-on to BPA No. 75D30120A08214 (GS00F008DA), Call No. 75D30122F15721 titled: Collection of Electronic Health Record (EHR) Data from Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) Sampled in the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey. Market research indicates that there are other companies with the capability to recruit Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). However, it's crucial to note that the contractor has already completed half of the FQHC Electronic Health Record (EHR) work. Given this substantial progress, it makes logical sense to entrust them with the maintenance and ultimate completion of the remaining FQHC EHR work. This approach ensures consistency, compatibility, and efficiency, ultimately saving both time and government resources by awarding BPA Call 75D30124F19541 in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C); In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures.
The redacted Sole Source Justification is attached.
Awarded contract 75D30120A08214 to unknown vendor for unknown amount on 2024-08-14.
