About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command, through Little Rock Air Force Base's 19 CONS/PKA office, is seeking sources for washer and dryer leasing services. The contractor must furnish, install, and maintain commercial-grade, ENERGY STAR and FEMP-compliant washers and dryers across multiple dormitories at the installation. Key requirements include full installation and operationalization of equipment within 10 calendar days of contract start, 24-hour service call response times (excluding weekends and holidays), and achievement of a 95 percent satisfactory service completion rate with no more than 3-5 valid defects per month. The acquisition is anticipated to be competitive and result in a Firm Fixed Price contract under NAICS code 532210 (Consumer Electronics and Appliances Rental). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be submitted electronically by March 30, 2026, and should include company name, address, UEI, CAGE code, point of contact information, business size classification, and any current government contract vehicles.

This is a Sources Sought Notice with no set-aside designation currently applied, though the Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for the subsequent acquisition if adequate competition exists among small business contractors. The contract is open to businesses located in Arkansas, Tennessee, or Texas. The effort encompasses approximately 175 washers and 175 dryers distributed across nine dormitories and the Fire Department at Little Rock Air Force Base, with the contract anticipated to become effective August 1, 2026. While no specific award value is disclosed in the notice, the NAICS size standard of $47 million provides a benchmark for small business classification. The contractor must also designate an available Contract Manager during normal duty hours (0700-1600, Monday-Friday) and maintain a Quality Control Plan throughout the service period, which involves semi-annual dryer cleaning, preventive maintenance, and continuous equipment monitoring.
