About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center issued an informational Special Notice on February 5, 2026, regarding the Looking Glass – Next (LG-N) acquisition program. This posting explicitly clarifies that it is not a Request for Proposal and does not constitute a commitment by the government to contract for any supplies or services. The Air Force emphasizes that it is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals at this time. The notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes to communicate the current status of the acquisition to interested industry participants. The government will not reimburse any costs incurred by respondents as a result of this informational update.

The LG-N Program Management Office has issued a Request for Information (RFI) directed exclusively at cleared industry contractors with a need-to-know basis regarding the program. Interested parties must contact the LG-N Contracting team—Captain Kelsey Stull or Zachary Spaulding—with RFI responses due by February 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST. All communications regarding the RFI must be directed through program Contracting Officers only, and industry is explicitly prohibited from contacting individual PMO team members directly. Eligible respondents must possess appropriate security clearances to access and respond to the RFI. Data submitted in response will be reviewed by Advisory and Assistance Services and Federally Funded Research and Development Center contractors operating under standard Non-Disclosure Agreements, with primary technical and management support provided by The MITRE Corporation, Oasis Systems LLC, MCR LLC, and PCI LLC.
