About this opportunity
The Air Force Installation Contracting Command (AFICC) 763d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron is conducting market research to identify potential contractors for Logistics Readiness Squadron Capabilities (LRS-C) services across multiple Air Force bases. The procurement will be a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting logistics services including ground transportation, traffic management, air transportation, fuels management, materiel management, and vehicle management across 27 locations in 10 major commands. The government seeks vendors with experience in facilities support services, with relevant NAICS codes ranging from transit services to warehousing, and size standards between $9M and $47M. Interested vendors must submit detailed responses by March 3, 2025, to three specified points of contact at Scott AFB, Illinois, including completed vendor information and service capabilities spreadsheets. The RFI is strictly for market research purposes and does not guarantee a solicitation or contract award.
The contract will have a 5-year ordering period with an additional potential year for performance, making the total possible period of performance 6 years. Individual task orders are anticipated to range from three to five years and will cover both CONUS and OCONUS locations. There are currently over 34 separate contracts supporting these logistics services, indicating a substantial and complex service requirement. The solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category, meaning both small and large businesses can compete. While no specific award value is mentioned, the multiple NAICS codes suggest a potentially significant contract with size standards up to $47 million. The government is specifically interested in vendors' capabilities to provide surge support and comprehensive logistics readiness services across Air Force installations. Vendors will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate experience, financial stability, and capacity to support wide-ranging logistics requirements across multiple military bases.
