About this opportunity

The Air Force Installation Contracting Command (AFICC) 763d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron is conducting market research to identify potential contractors for Logistics Readiness Squadron Capabilities (LRS-C) services across Air Force installations. The government seeks to establish a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to consolidate over 34 separate existing contracts that currently support logistics operations at 27 locations across 10 major commands. Services will include materiel management, traffic management, vehicle management and maintenance, fuels management, ground and air transportation, and surge support capabilities. Interested vendors must submit their responses via email to the designated points of contact by March 3, 2025, with responses being voluntary and used strictly for internal Air Force decision-making. The RFI covers multiple NAICS codes with small business size standards ranging from $9 million to $47 million, indicating a broad potential pool of contractors.

The contract is not set aside for any specific business category, allowing open competition among businesses of various sizes and capabilities. The anticipated period of performance includes a 5-year ordering period with an additional year for performance completion, totaling a possible 6-year contract lifecycle. Individual task orders are expected to range from three to five years and may occur at one or multiple base locations, both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). While specific award values are not disclosed, the breadth of services and wide geographic coverage suggests a potentially significant contract opportunity. The government will utilize detailed vendor information collected through attachments, including a comprehensive questionnaire about past performance, contract history, teaming agreements, and capacity to perform LRS services, to inform their strategic sourcing and enterprise contract vehicle development.
