About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command has issued a Special Notice providing an updated timeline for the Logistics IT Integration and Support (LIIS) Capability Modernization, Deployment, and Support (CMDS) Multiple Award Contract solicitation N68520-24-R-0020. This Department of the Navy procurement opportunity falls under the Computer Systems Design Services category and focuses on IT and telecommunications business application development support services. The contract is structured as a Multiple Award Contract with partial small business set-aside provisions. The original solicitation was posted for proposals, and the government is currently in the evaluation phase of submitted offers. This procurement represents a significant IT modernization initiative for naval logistics systems.

The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to address inquiries from offerors regarding the status of proposal evaluations and to provide an updated award timeline. The government is continuing its evaluation process for proposals that were previously submitted in response to the original solicitation. The anticipated award date has been established as the end of the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, providing offerors with a clearer timeframe for contract award decisions. Contractors are instructed to continue monitoring SAM.gov for any additional updates or announcements related to this procurement. The partial small business set-aside indicates that portions of this contract opportunity are reserved for small business participation, though specific eligibility requirements would be detailed in the original solicitation. The LIIS CMDS program appears to be a comprehensive logistics IT modernization effort requiring specialized technical capabilities in systems integration and ongoing support services.
