About this opportunity

NASA's Johnson Space Center is seeking to increase the maximum Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) ordering limit for its Logistics Contract by $7,700,000, extending the contract period through February 28, 2026. The contract with TechTrans International covers comprehensive logistics services including project management, supply management, furniture operations, moving and hauling, bicycle program maintenance, equipment management, packing and shipping, vehicle fleet management, and export control support. NASA is justifying this sole source action under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), citing that awarding to another vendor would cause unacceptable delays in fulfilling agency requirements. The original contract (80JSC018C0005) was awarded on March 1, 2018, and this increase will allow TechTrans International to continue providing critical support services at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Interested companies are invited to submit capability statements by January 2, 2025, though NASA reserves the right to determine whether the procurement will be competitively bid.

Update #2 · Latest ·

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) has a requirement for contractor services to support the current Logistics Contract. These services include Project Management, Supply Management, Furniture Operations, Moving and Hauling Services, Bicycle Program and Maintenance, Equipment Management, Redistribution and Utilization, Packing and Shipping Services, Receiving and Inspection Services, Vehicle and Fleet Management, Export Control Support Services, and Special Support Services.

NASA/JSC intends to increase the maximum Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity ordering limit for the Logistics Contract by $7,700,000 to support the completion of the contract period through February 28, 2026. These requirements are currently being procured through TechTrans International as they are still within the contracted Period of Performance. This increase is being done per FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) as the award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencies requirements.
