About this opportunity

The Peace Corps issued a Limited/Sole Source Justification (J&A Number 63,034-26) on March 20, 2026, to award a logical follow-on task order for Travel Services Solutions, specifically passport and visa services, to incumbent contractor CW Government Travel, Inc. under GSA Schedule contract GS-33F-0022P. The justification cites FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) as the authority for this limited-source award, determining that CW Government Travel, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of meeting the Peace Corps' unique travel and event planning requirements due to the extensive specialized training and security clearance requirements that would take more than 90 days to onboard an alternative vendor. The contract period extends for four months from March 21, 2026, through July 20, 2026, with an optional six-month extension available, providing continuity of services without interruption or changes in scope. While the specific award value is not disclosed in the available documentation, the task order is structured as a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) arrangement under the Peace Corps' existing GSA Schedule contract. Following this extension period, the Peace Corps anticipates conducting a new competitive Request for Quote with an anticipated award by May 2026 to establish a long-term travel management provider.
