Set aside: Total Small Business
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation number SFSIAQ17Q4020 for lodging and meeting space that meets ALL of the following RFQ requirements:
Location: Downtown Boston, MA
Dates: April 27, 2017 - April 29, 2017 (2 nights)
Number of rooms: 26
Room rate: Must be no higher than the U.S. Government lodging rate (before applicable taxes, if any) and further discounts will be considered; the quoted price per room shall show a breakout of the applicable taxes.
Lodging provider must:
a) Be located within a half mile to eateries and shopping establishments;
b) Have 24-hour room service and/or gift shop or similar
Other requirements:
a) Not all guests have a credit card, therefore the lodging provider must be able to modify rooms to either 1) remove or secure snack bar items or 2) allow a cash deposit
SAM Registration: To be considered for award, offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) before this RFQ closes
Quotations from third party vendors are not eligible for an award
Price validity: quote must be valid for 30 days
Quotations:
The quote must be submitted on company letterhead showing the requested prices for this requirement and a description of how your establishment meets all of the requirements of this RFQ listed above. The quote must include the phone number and email of a point of contact and the address of your proposed location. Quotes must be emailed to Robert Datoc at DatocRA@state.gov before the RFQ closing date and include the solicitation number in the subject line of the email. FSI intends to make one award directly with the proposed venue that is a small business. The anticipated award date is March 23, 2017.
Basis for Award and Evaluation Criteria:
FSI will award one purchase order resulting from this RFQ in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106 to the responsible small business offeror conforming to all requirements in this RFQ that is the lowest price. FSI will utilize hotel reviews and other information found on travel websites, (e.g., TripAdvisor.com), to help verify whether an offeror's quotation meets all of the requirements of this RFQ.
