Key contract requirements include installing a new NEMA 4X rated stainless steel enclosure, a 120V duplex pump lift station control panel, and a humidity control system to prevent corrosion. The contract is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS category 238210 for Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $19 million. Contractors will be required to begin work within 10 calendar days of receiving a notice to proceed and complete all work within 30 calendar days. Work is restricted to 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and requires an Accident Prevention Plan with a Site Safety and Health Officer present. The place of performance is located in Hastings, Minnesota 55033, specifically at the Lock and Dam #2 facility.
