About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation W912ES25Q0033, issued by USACE St. Paul District on February 20, 2025, providing answers to industry questions about the lift station control panel replacement project.

The amendment clarifies several technical details: the breaker panel and controller are in the same panel, with the main breaker located approximately 600 feet away in the CCS; the pumps are 1/2 HP with 10.6 AMP rating; three alarm floats are already present and set up; power is existing at the station with no new power runs required; conduit condition is unknown but no additional circuits are needed; no digging or trenching is involved as this is solely a panel replacement; and the control panel will remain outside rather than being relocated inside a building. The amendment does not extend the solicitation response deadline.

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

QUESTION FROM INDUSTRY

Q. How far is the lift station controller from the pumps and the breaker panel that feeds the pumps? The breaker panel and the controller are in the same panel. If you are asking how far is the breaker that feeds everything, that is located in the CCS which is approxinmately 600’.

Q. What is the amperage or horsepower of the pumps? AMP 10.6 HP 1/2

Q. Are all floats already present for the alarms? low-level, high-level, and lag float? Floats are already set and present. 3 floats to the best of our knowledge.

Q. Is new power required to be ran from breaker panel to new pump control unit? Or is power already existing at the lift station? Power is already at the station.

Q. Is the conduit from the current lift station controls to the main breaker panel in good condition? Can additional circuits be pulled out to the lift station if needed? Condition of the conduit is unknown. There is no requirement to run additional power to the panel.

Q. Will there be digging or trenching involved? No, this requirement is for the replacement of the panel, no earthwork involved.

Q. Depending on structure location, would USACE like for the control panel to be mounted inside a building rather than be located outside at the lift station? No
