About this opportunity
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Central Asia is seeking information on organizations with capacity and experience in Turkmenistan, grant/contract administration, and the livestock sector. USAID envisions an upcoming activity focused on improving cattle productivity in Turkmenistan through approaches such as enhancing access to genetic material, quality feed, and farmer knowledge/skills, as well as strengthening the local dairy and meat value chains. The Request for Information (RFI) aims to identify entities with relevant experience in areas like sub-grant/contract management, procurement, hiring, monitoring and evaluation, and financial management, particularly those that have not received more than $5 million directly from USAID in the past 5 years. Responses are due by May 29, 2024, and USAID plans to hold informational sessions on April 23 and 24, 2024.
This opportunity is not set aside for any specific business type. The relevant NAICS code is likely 112120 (Cattle Ranching and Farming) and the PSC code may be R499 (Other Professional Services). USAID has not identified any potential incumbent contractors. The total value or budget range for this upcoming activity is not specified in the pre-solicitation notice.
