About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command has awarded a contract (FA302225C0007) to AT&T Enterprises, LLC for local telecommunication services at Columbus Air Force Base. The contract, valued at $195,864.09, will provide telecommunications services including a transition from Primary Rate Interface (PRI) to Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking, modernizing the base's voice communication infrastructure. The contract covers 72 concurrent call paths, supports 4,600 Direct-Inward-Dialing directory numbers, and requires 99.9% service availability with specific response times for various outage priorities. The base performance period is 9 months, from May 15, 2025 to February 14, 2026, with options for additional 12-month periods, and includes the installation of new telecommunications equipment to support Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) capabilities.
Notice text
The contract will provide telecommunications services (TS) for Columbus AFB IAW the PWS dated 15 November 2024. The new contract will include a switch from standard copper cabling to fiber optics. The 14th Communications Squadron (14CS) currently utilizes Primary Rate Interface (PRI) trunking for local TS. In efforts to modernize the telecommunications infrastructure to Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP), 14CS requires a transition from PRI to Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking. Due to changes in technology, equipment, and processes, it has become evident that the Government should acquire these services in a performance-based manner, consistent with the principles contained in Air Force Instruction (AFI) 63- 138 “Acquisition of Services.”
Awarded contract FA302225C0007 to AT&T Enterprises, LLC for 195864.09 on 2025-02-19.
