About this opportunity

The 31st Contracting Squadron is conducting market research regarding contingency support capabilities and commodities available from local contractors and service providers at Aviano Air Base, Italy, with responses due August 17, 2026. This is information-gathering only and will not result in contract award, modification, or termination.

"Local" capability is defined as ability to provide commodities or services within the area of operations at Aviano Air Base or delivery and performance within 48 hours of notification, subject to availability, applicable legal requirements, and mission conditions. The Air Force seeks vendor information across multiple classes of supply and service: Class I (subsistence food, bottled water, ice, field feeding, catering, refrigerated storage); Class II (individual clothing, organizational equipment, field gear, tents, sleeping systems); Class III (fuel, lubricants, automotive fluids, fuel delivery, storage, dispensing); and Class IV (construction materials including lumber, barriers, aggregate, fencing, electrical supplies, plumbing materials, and expeditionary materials). Class VI (personal hygiene and comfort items) is also included.

Responses will not affect future contract requirements, source selections, or evaluations and will not be reimbursed. The Government intends to use collected information to support acquisition planning and identify available commercial capabilities for contingency operations planning purposes.
