About this opportunity
The Defense Commissary Agency solicited linen and mat rental and cleaning services at five Arizona military commissary locations (Davis Monthan AFB, Luke AFB, Fort Huachuca, Yuma MCAS, and Yuma Proving Ground); however, the solicitation was cancelled effective June 22, 2026, and no further action is required from offerors.
The original solicitation (HQC005-26-Q-E007) was issued as a Request for Quote with a small business set-aside, though all responsible sources could submit quotations. The original proposal deadline was May 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST to Fatia Broussard and Christina Ellison.
Place of performance spanned five commissary locations across Arizona. The contractor was required to supply and service linens (butcher coats, shirts, pants, aprons, bib aprons, and smocks in sizes S-5X), mats (3'x5', 3'x10', and 4'x6' in black or grey with non-slip backing), and mops (36" and 48" dust mops; 24 oz and 28 oz wet mops) with weekly pickup and drop-off service based on store-scheduled dates. Initial linen delivery was due within 7 to 14 days of award; mats and mops within 14 days. All linens had to be wrinkle-resistant cotton and polyester blend, delivered clean and dry. The contractor was required to obtain installation passes and security clearances for personnel and vehicles at no cost to the government and maintain quarterly inventory logs with 100% fill rates.
The contract was a requirements contract with optional service extensions up to six months and maximum duration of 60 months including all options. Evaluation was on a best value trade-off basis. The NAICS code was 812332, Industrial Launderers; PSC code was W084. Past performance demonstrations required recent (within three years), relevant experience supplying laundered linens and mats to grocery retailers. Technical proposals required narratives on quality and safety protocols, operational reliability, internal quality control, and relevant certifications such as Textile Rental Services Association credentials and OSHA compliance documentation.
