About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command is seeking a contractor to design and construct up to 178 duplex housing units at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. The project is divided into two phases: H-308 (Phase IX) will construct up to 136 family units, and H-434 (Phase X) will construct up to 42 family units. These housing units will be single-story, three and four-bedroom structures intended to provide permanent, high-quality housing for enlisted military personnel and their families. The solicitation is part of an eleven-phase program aimed at upgrading and improving housing standards for military families. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in the notice, the project appears to be focused on meeting military housing infrastructure needs.
The solicitation is not designated with any specific set-aside classifications and is open to qualified contractors. The project will be performed entirely in Guam, with a solicitation posted on September 3, 2024, and a response deadline of February 13, 2025. The contract falls under the NAICS category 236116 for New Multifamily Housing Construction and the Product Service Code Y1FA for Construction of Family Housing Facilities. These housing units represent a significant investment in military infrastructure, with the goal of providing upgraded, permanent housing solutions for military families stationed at Andersen Air Force Base. The project is part of a comprehensive long-term strategy to enhance living conditions for enlisted personnel in the region.
