About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command, through the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division at Keyport, is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of supplying a Light Indicator (Part Number 351-24513-108) as specified in Drawing Package 351-24513-1. This is a Sources Sought Notice (RFISS-145) rather than a formal Request for Proposal, issued to gather capability information from industry participants without any financial commitment from the government. Interested contractors must complete the provided "Questions for Industry" questionnaire, which requests detailed information about company qualifications, past performance, technical capabilities, delivery processes, estimated costs, and experience with similar complex systems. The questionnaire must be submitted via email to brook.m.smith.civ@us.navy.mil by November 5, 2025. Respondents are required to adhere to Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements and must not include classified, controlled unclassified, or arms export controlled information in their submissions. The government will not respond to specific questions submitted and assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred by respondents.
No set-aside designations are being applied to this procurement opportunity. The notice does not identify any current contractors or incumbents, nor does it specify an award value or budget range for this market research phase. The submission of information in response to this sources sought notice is purely voluntary, and the government makes no commitments based on responses received. This notice represents an early-stage market research effort to inform potential future procurement actions and does not guarantee that a formal solicitation will be issued. Contractors should note that all documentation submitted in response becomes government property, and this notice is intended for information planning purposes only.
