About this opportunity

The National Institutes of Health intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to LI-COR Biosciences for an Odyssey M Imager as a single-source procurement under FAR 6.302-1, with capability statements due September 17, 2026. LI-COR Biosciences is the sole manufacturer and service provider of the Odyssey M Imaging System; the Government asserts no other responsible source can meet requirements without substantial cost duplication or unacceptable delays.

The Odyssey M Imager provides integrated near-infrared and visible fluorescence imaging, trans and epi illumination, and optional luminescence detection within a single platform. The system employs line-scanning technology with optimized excitation and sCMOS detection for fluorescence imaging and CCD detection for luminescence, delivering wide dynamic range exceeding six orders of magnitude across imaging channels to minimize signal saturation and support quantitative imaging applications.

Although this is not a request for competitive quotations, interested parties believing they can meet Government requirements may submit capability statements demonstrating ability to provide the Odyssey M Imager and associated components meeting specified requirements. The Government will evaluate all timely responses and determine whether to proceed as single-source or compete the acquisition. Award is anticipated approximately five calendar days after the notice closing date, unless the Government identifies another responsible source capable of fulfilling the requirement.
