About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service intends to lease 300 to 600 square feet of storage space in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with expressions of interest due by June 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM Central time.

Space must be located within a defined geographic area bounded by NM State Road 423 (north), Interstate 25 (east), Montgomery Boulevard (south), and State Road 47 (west), in Bernalillo County, ZIP 87113. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous, accounting for relocation costs and agency downtime.

Required facility features include 24/7 access, first-floor contiguous space, fire-safety and accessibility compliance, location outside the 100-year flood plain, and adherence to sustainability standards. Priority is given to climate-controlled, secure warehouse or evidence space with onsite restroom facilities. The space must accommodate truck loading and unloading with adequate turning radius and trailer backing access for two trucks. A security camera system is preferred. At this time, only existing buildings will be considered; new construction may be considered only if it meets the required occupancy delivery date.

Lessors must remain active in SAM.gov throughout the lease term and execute a government lease incorporating applicable FAR clauses. Responses that fail to include mandatory property-specific information will be disregarded. Respondents must submit building name and address, space location within the building, availability date, and scaled floor plans as minimum requirements.
