About this opportunity

The notice indicates an intent to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the City of Fernandina Beach Police Department for providing security services. This procurement is being conducted on a non-competitive basis, with the city police department identified as the sole vendor capable of meeting the government's specific requirements. The contract is for a two-month service period, covering law enforcement support for SWFLANT operations and security needs. The notice was published on March 24, 2025, with a response deadline of March 26, 2025.

Interested contractors can submit their capabilities and evidence of potential competitive advantage by 12:00 PM Eastern on March 26, 2025, via email to SPK12CONTRACTS@swflant.navy.mil. Participants must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and can challenge the sole-source determination by providing compelling alternative capabilities. The contract falls under NAICS code 561612 and PSC code R430 for Professional Physical Security and Badging Support. The government retains full discretion in determining whether to proceed with a competitive procurement and will not reimburse vendors for any costs associated with responding to the notice.
