About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville intends to issue a sole source award to Trident Maritime Systems for Launch and Recovery Crane Open and Inspect services. The contract opportunity falls under NAICS code 336611 (Ship Building and Repairing) with a size standard of 1,300 employees. The procurement relates to maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of ship and marine equipment. This notice does not constitute a formal solicitation or request for proposals.
The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to provide other potential contractors an opportunity to demonstrate their capability to provide comparable services before the Navy proceeds with the sole source award. Interested parties must submit written responses by August 14, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. ET, providing clear and convincing evidence of their ability to fulfill the requirement. All eligible sources must articulate their capabilities in writing, as simple requests for documentation will not be considered valid responses. Responses must be submitted to the designated Navy contracting personnel via email addresses provided in the notice.
