All work must be performed Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, with grounds maintained to always appear well-manicured. A critical requirement is obtaining regular access to Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, and contractors must demonstrate this capability in their response. The agency has requested capability statements to be submitted by July 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST via email to natasha.mixon@va.gov, with evaluation focusing on past performance and ability to access the Marine Corps facility.

Potential contractors must submit company details, a 5-page Statement of Capability demonstrating past performance, and proof of ability to access Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany. The contractor will be required to provide biweekly reports on work performed and items of note, with quality control evaluated through weekly discussions between the Contracting Officer's Representative and the contractor's foreman. This is currently a market survey to determine the appropriate acquisition method, with no guarantee of a future contract award. The opportunity falls under NAICS code 561730 (Landscaping Services), and no incumbent contractor or specific contract value information was provided in the solicitation documents.
