About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Installation and Mission Support Center Installation Contracting Agency is seeking to procure Trimble brand land survey equipment through solicitation FA8051-25-Q-9004, specifically Trimble Grader and Dozer Robotic Total Station Survey Kits. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared under brand-name only requirements, justified by the need for compatibility with existing Air Force systems and standardization of engineering land survey equipment. The procurement includes comprehensive equipment packages featuring TD510 or TD540 displays, carbon fiber poles, mounting brackets, CB460 control boxes, dual masts, slope sensors, GNSS smart antennas, Trimble Earthworks software, training, and extended service warranty packages. The government will evaluate offers using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method and intends to award a single purchase order to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value. Questions are due by September 3, 2025 at 9:00am CST, with quotes due by September 8, 2025 at 9:00am CST, and submitted offers must remain valid for 60 calendar days.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 334511, targeting contractors with 1,350 or fewer employees. The solicitation covers two Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): one Trimble Grader 3D Control System and one Trimble Dozer Control System, each with a quantity of one unit. While no specific award values are disclosed in the current pricing sheet, the justification document indicates this is part of a broader Trimble land survey equipment standardization effort spanning fiscal years 2025-2031. The equipment will be delivered to Fort Indiantown Gap in Annville, Pennsylvania, with the primary point of contact being Technical Sergeant Joseph P. Motter of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. The place of performance is listed as Panama City, Florida, while vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management and Wide Area Work Flow to be eligible for award consideration.
