About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Document Services is conducting a Request for Interest (RFI) to identify potential contractors capable of providing comprehensive maintenance services for their laminator equipment fleet. The procurement involves on-site maintenance services for eight laminator devices, including seven Fujipla HLA-2301 ALM 12.6" Automatic Laminators and one Ledco Digital 42" model (serial number D-42B-1189), with maintenance services to include all parts and labor excluding consumables. These laminators are distributed across six different locations, and the government seeks to determine whether prospective contractors can service all equipment at all locations or identify which specific locations each contractor can support. This RFI is strictly for market research purposes to assess industry interest, feasibility, and contractor capabilities, with no obligation for contract award. Interested parties must respond by August 11, 2025, though no formal solicitation package is currently available.

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designation and is open to all qualified contractors. The potential service contract could extend for up to 60 months, providing long-term maintenance support for the laminator fleet. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice, nor are specific budget ranges or award values disclosed at this preliminary stage. The opportunity falls under NAICS code 811310 for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, and PSC code J039 for Materials Handling Equipment maintenance and repair services. The geographic distribution of equipment across six locations suggests contractors will need significant logistical capabilities and potentially multiple service technicians to effectively support this maintenance contract.
