About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation is seeking to procure 990 tons of 3/4-inch maximum Class 2 Aggregate base rock for road rehabilitation at Lake Berryessa. The solicitation (No. 140R2025Q0029) is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order covering a base year and four option years of rock delivery. Quotes are due by 3:00 PM PST on April 24, 2025, and must be submitted electronically to Sarah Anaya. The evaluation will be based on two primary factors: price and the ability to meet the May 1, 2025 delivery date. Contractors must adhere to the specifications outlined in the solicitation document, which incorporates provisions from Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03 as of January 17, 2025.
This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 212321, with a size standard of 500 employees. The rock will be delivered annually from May 15, 2025 to May 14, 2030, and must be placed at specified locations within one mile of the entrance of the East Side Road at Lake Berryessa. Contractors are required to inform the Contracting Officer's Representative of the daily rock delivery amount and provide final receipts from the rock supplier. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the contract involves the annual delivery of 990 tons of aggregate base rock over a five-year period. The procurement is specifically focused on supporting road rehabilitation efforts at the Lake Berryessa site, with precise delivery and placement requirements for the selected contractor.
