About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 is announcing a sole-source intent to award a cart-mounted fully automatic high-purity solvent recycling system to CBG Biotech LTD CO, with responses due by September 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Time. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System Pathology and Laboratory Department requires this equipment to reclaim solvents used in histology operations, reducing hazardous waste, controlling costs, and maintaining environmental and safety compliance. The VA has determined under 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) and FAR 6.103-1(b) that only one responsible source exists because the equipment is proprietary and provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer, with no other third-party vendors authorized to install or service it. Interested vendors may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations within seven calendar days of publication to demonstrate ability to meet requirements; submissions should be directed to Contract Specialist Robert Bennett at robert.bennett8@va.gov or 319-339-7079. The government will review submissions to determine whether to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis. The solicitation number is 36C26326Q1069; NAICS code 334516; PSC 6640. The notice will be archived 60 days after the response date.
