Update #2 ·
The US Army Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) desires to procure a qualified source who can offer a one-stop calibration and repair support (C & RS) services for laboratory equipment located at the Detroit Arsenal (6501 E. Eleven Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48397) as well as Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI. Contractor will be responsible to pick up, calibrate, and return equipment to appropriate laboratory.
The objective is to reduce the turnaround time (TAT) for C & RS by eliminating the need of establishing multiple contracts to multiple vendors for commercial calibration. An average desired TAT is 21 days. The contractor will be responsible to provide necessary personnel, materials, equipment, travel, tools, calibration working standards, transportation, and shipping. Laboratory equipment must be calibrated to manufacturer's specifications by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited facility that provides ISO/IEC 17025 certifications for equipment calibrated.
Attachment 1 is provided for informational purposes. It is representative of the approximate mix of equipment, but is not all-inclusive and subject to changes as equipment is acquired and/or replaced.
End state is one catch-all contract that all TARDEC Laboratories can utilize, with little notice, to get their laboratory equipment calibrated/repaired to manufacturer's specifications. A successful contractor will be customer focused providing easy means of requesting services and shipping to/from. It is expected that the contractor would service a portion of the equipment themselves, and sub-contract other more specialized items.
All interested parties shall submit the provided Market Survey responses directly to Jason Ladd at Jason.d.ladd2.civ@mail.mil by COB 29 May 2017.
