About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Drum seeks an analytical laboratory instrument capable of acquiring real-time, simultaneous multi-modal measurement data to analyze protein behavior, with proposals due September 16. The procurement is set aside for total small business.
Place of performance is West Point, New York. The instrument must acquire fluorescence, absorbance, light scattering, and pH/conductivity data through automated experiments, with automated titrations required. Temperature and mixing speed must be controllable. The instrument shall perform experiments in phase separation, protein interactions, protein aggregation, thermal stability, ion binding, and pH stability. The contractor must supply software for experiment setup and data collection, analysis software, and filter cubes. The instrument must be reproducible to enable different users to acquire consistent results and must operate with minimal running costs without reliance on proprietary consumables. The NAICS code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; the PSC code is 6630, Chemical Analysis Instruments.
