About this opportunity

The U.S. Air Force's 502d Contracting Squadron, Air Education and Training Command, is formally announcing its intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to TS Enterprise Associates Inc. DBA Advanced Technologies Consultants for the procurement of Lab-Volt Facet Cards and Repair Components. This requirement supports the Medical Education Training Campus (METC), Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) course at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

The purpose of this sole source acquisition is to address the high failure rate of the current Facet cards used in the BMET training program, which is causing disruptions. TS Enterprise Associates Inc. DBA Advanced Technologies Consultants is the sole authorized distributor of the required Lab-Volt products. The Air Force intends to negotiate directly with this single source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1). There are no other vendors that can provide compatible products for the existing 80 workstations used in the BMET training. The due date for this requirement is April 25, 2024, and the Air Force will continue to monitor the market for potential new vendors in the future.
