The notice seeks to procure one year of seawater services for NOAA's Southwest Fisheries Science Center La Jolla Laboratory from the University of California San Diego.
The Special Notice provides details on the requirement for a continuous flow of 80 gallons per minute of seawater to be supplied from September 14, 2024 to September 13, 2025. Interested parties were invited to submit capability statements with technical and cost details by March 8, 2024 to be considered for potential award, however, the justification document indicates that only UCSD is capable of meeting the requirement due to existing infrastructure.
