About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Logistics Center Mechanicsburg is seeking semi-annual preventative maintenance services for a Model 320 Disintegrator (Serial Number CA083000A-09004) located at U.S. Naval Base Kitsap in Keyport, Washington. The Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command is procuring these commercial maintenance services under solicitation N6572625Q0006, which includes comprehensive maintenance tasks such as knife replacement and sharpening, equipment calibration, bearing lubrication, system inspections, and evaluation report generation. The contract will be awarded on a firm fixed-price basis to the technically acceptable offer providing the best value to the government, with price and past performance weighted equally in the evaluation process. Amendment 0001, issued July 11, 2025, added specific evaluation criteria under NAVSEA Clause M-215-H004. All questions and offers must be submitted electronically to benjamin.d.deleo.civ@us.navy.mil, with the solicitation closing at 3:00 PM on July 17, 2025.
Despite the government file summary indicating this is a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside, the federal contract opportunity description specifically states "No Set-Aside Used," creating a discrepancy in the documentation. The contract structure includes a base year from FY 2025 to FY 2026 with four optional one-year extension periods extending through FY 2030, potentially creating a five-year maintenance agreement. The solicitation falls under NAICS code 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a size standard of $12.5 million, though no specific contract values are disclosed in the available documentation. The work will be performed at building 105N on U.S. Naval Base Kitsap in Keyport, Washington, with the government's Technical Point of Contact coordinating service locations and scheduling. The requirement carries a Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9, indicating moderate priority for defense materials allocation purposes.
