About this opportunity
The 414th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office, Vicanza, Italy, is increasing the maximum value of the existing Darby Military Community (DMC) Construction Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.303-1.
The MATOC comprises four IDIQ contracts (W912PF24D0010, W912PF24D0011, W912PF24D0012, W912PF24D0013) awarded in March 2024 to Battistella S.P.A., Eiffage Infraestructuras SAU, Impresa Costruzioni Filippi Renzo e Figl, and PORR Government Services Italy SRL. The ceiling is being increased by five million dollars to a revised total of twenty million dollars. Approximately seventy percent of the original fifteen million dollar ceiling has been expended through twenty-nine task orders, leaving four point forty-nine million dollars remaining before the increase.
The justification cites 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(2), unusual and compelling urgency, on the basis of mission-critical repairs to failing structures and utilities at U.S. Army Garrison Italy. Priority projects include roof repairs to Controlled Humidity warehouses, infrastructure repairs to Overhead Aluminum Composite Panel structures and circuit breakers, HVAC system installation, and deconstruction and reconstruction of three critical buildings.
The MATOC supports Design-Bid-Build services for maintenance, repair, and construction work at DMC and covers a five-year ordering period from March 4, 2024 to March 3, 2029. Competition continues at the task order level among the four MATOC contractors using lowest-price selection. Place of performance is Darby Military Community, USAG Italy.
