About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity (JEFO) to extend a task order for preventative and corrective maintenance of Large Scale (LS) and Small Scale (SS) Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) equipment with American Science and Engineering (AS&E), the original equipment manufacturer. The task order, valued at an estimated $10,408,947.50, will be extended from May 30, 2024 to August 30, 2024 to avoid unacceptable delays that would compromise national security. CBP will conduct a price analysis to ensure fair and reasonable pricing prior to contract award, and the JEFO will be published on SAM.gov to consider any additional sources.
