About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security Office of Procurement Operations (DHS/OPO) intends to award a sole-source task order to Computer World Solutions Corporation (CWS) for systems engineering and test support services related to OBIM systems and the Homeland Advance Recognition Technology (HART) system. The justification is based on FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B) due to a protest by Delmock Technologies of the original contract award, which triggered a corrective action period. The task order, valued at $5,804,970, covers a base period and three one-month option periods, and encompasses critical support services including architecture, engineering, infrastructure, security, testing, and change management. CWS is being selected as the sole source provider due to their incumbent status and ability to maintain continuity of essential DHS biometric systems without interruption. The contract will ensure uninterrupted support for high-priority systems like IDENT, HART, and the OBIM Cloud System during the protest resolution process, with services specifically tailored to meet the complex security and technical requirements of these sensitive government systems.
