About this opportunity

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest published a justification and approval to increase the total maximum value of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity multiple award contract for architectural and engineering services to the Naval Special Warfare Command projects in Southern California. The additional $6.8 million, raising the total from $30 million to $36.8 million, will allow for more task orders and modifications using a design-bid-build methodology, provide capacity for post-construction award services once designs are complete and construction begins, and include funds for unseen modifications related to design changes for ongoing projects. The contract action was awarded on February 27, 2020 to an unknown vendor for an unknown amount, citing only one responsible source being able to satisfy agency requirements as the statutory authority for contracting without full and open competition.
