About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood is seeking a non-personal services contractor to provide snowmobiles and equipment for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) at Fort Wainwright and Fort Greely, Alaska. The contractor must supply specific Ski-Doo snowmobile models and pull sleds that are fully operational, capable of withstanding multiple terrains, and equipped with unlimited miles per day. Key contract requirements include delivery and pickup at designated locations (Salcha Bridgehead and Fort Greely), arrival between 0800-1600 on the first day of each training period, 24/7 emergency repair and replacement services, and joint inspection procedures. The government will award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract based on the contractor's ability to meet the Performance Work Statement specifications. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on December 17, 2025, with a response deadline of December 22, 2025, and interested contractors are encouraged to contact the government with their lead-time requirements.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, limiting competition to small business entities. The contract covers two separate training periods: January 23-28, 2026 and February 10-23, 2026. For the first period, the contractor must provide two Ski-Doo Expedition 900 ACE Turbo Wide Track, one Ski-Doo Expedition 900 ACE Wide Track, nine Ski-Doo Grand Touring Sport 600 ACE, and four UHMW pull sleds; additional snowmobiles are required for the second period. The government reserves the right to adjust quantities by plus or minus 30 percent based on operational requirements, and all equipment must be in good condition without visible damage and include a 5-pound fire extinguisher. While no specific budget or award value is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the contracting office has not identified any incumbent contractors.
